Leanna ImgLEANNA FOWLDS, LCSW

A native to the Midwest, many of LeAnna’s years were spent in Northeast Missouri. She began her college education at Truman State University, followed by Business Management Training at Iowa Management Systems. In 2000, she moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, metroplex, returning to Missouri in 2020.

She has also learned there can be a happy ending after marrying her current husband and the love of her life in 2014.

Also in 2014, LeAnna opted to turn her passion for marriage counseling into a career by completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tarleton State University, followed by a Master of Social Work at the University of Texas, Arlington, with an emphasis in children and families.

Following her education, LeAnna received a license as a clinical social worker.

LeAnna has worked in various positions focusing on couples therapy and family trauma. Since 2018, LeAnna has continued her work with struggling relationships that draw on a comprehensive approach encompassing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

LeAnna engages couples in identifying and communicating feelings, understanding the importance of the Five Love Languages, and identifying unhealthy behavioral patterns.

LeAnna’s other interests include spending time at the lake, swimming, boating, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, and bicycling. She is an accomplished public speaker and aspires to be a published author.
